Laser Test Bench

We are developing a laser test bench to study possible space point distortions in a MPGD module for the Large Prototype TPC. The test bench consists of

  1. a ultraviolet laser pulser,
  2. a collimator with manual intensity control capability,
  3. a test box for the MPGD module with ALTRO readout,
  4. and a beam dump.

The test bench will be covered by a black box for safety. Hand drawings of the black box are available from the following links:
