e+e- -->μ+μ-H @250 GeV (μ+,μ-, and Higgs are produced by e+e- collision)
The KEK-ILC software group is active in the development of various software tools required to perform physics analyses in ILD. These same tools are used to optimise the design of the detector and its components.
We work closely with ILD colleagues from around the world to develop and maintain our software framework based on the ilcsoft, Marlin, dd4hep packages, and to use these tools to produce large samples of simulated events using the resources of the computing grid both at KEK and in other institutes
Members of the group also develop reconstruction algorthims to interpret the detector signals, and provide input to data analysis. A prominent example is the KalTest track-fitting package.
The application of Artificial Intelligence algorithms to data reconstruction and interpretation is a key area, using Deep Learning, Convolutional Networks, Graph Networks, and so on, to extract as much useful information as possible from the data provided by the many sub-detectors of ILD.
