surface options

Hi Rene,
I just installed the new development version (1.03/09) and ran the
benchmark.C. It seems the upper graph in the 'Surface Options'
display doesn't work. At least on DEC UNIX 4.0.
It's just not the 'standard' surface plot, I just get a white
spot with a few brown lines.
What is wrong there?
