GLC Project
Physics and Detector Study Group

The GLC project is to construct an electron-positron linear collider and explore particle physics at TeV energy region. The head-on collisions among particles will create extream high energy states that could happen in the early very hot universe. The GLC project will bring us to a deeper understanding of nature and possibly open up a way to uncover the secrets of the creation and evolution of our universe.

The former "JLC Project" was renamed to "GLC Project" on the occasion of a publication of "GLC Road Map Report".

Challenges to realize the linear collider have been carried out with world-wide cooperation in various field including accelerator, detector and physics, of which information can be found from this link. This page is to provide information of Japanese group activities on physics and detector studies.
