How to use XF68_FBDev

XF86config e.g. in this directory.
Use fbset -x to get video info.
Use also dmesg to get "depth" which is set in MacOS!


Xpmac does not use XF86Config...

Use

$ startx -- -mach64 -nomacgamma

to enable acceleration

At home, had to deactivate eth0 to start up X.
