Oct 14, 1998: (nfs-server-2.2beta29-2c) an sprintf buffer overflow security hole pluged with a patch extracted from nfs-server-2.2beta29-7.src.rpm.

Files

This directory contains the network file system servr programs:

   	SPECS                                   : containing spec files
   	SOURCES                                 : containing patches, etc
        README.html                             : this file
        nfs-server-2.2beta29-2c.src.rpm         : source RPM
        nfs-server-2.2beta29-2c.ppc.rpm         : binary RPM
        nfs-server-clients-2.2beta29-2c.ppc.rpm : binary RPM for utility

Installation Instructions

# /etc/rc.d/init.d/nfs stop

# rpm -Uvh <somewhere>/nfs-server*-2.2beta29-2c.ppc.rpm

then restart the nfs server:

# /etc/rc.d/init.d/nfs start
