The reconstructed higgs mass distribution,
of the process e+e- -> neu neu-bar h, where h decays hadronically.
Pythia and Quick Simulator is used.
( see
transparencies at 1st ACFA WS for more details.)

Typical Zh event at 300 GeV center of mass energy.
- All detector view
cyan and red boxes are HDC and EMC hit cells,
green lines are CDC tracks. Inner radius and outer radius of
wire-frame cylinder corresponds to the inner radius of EMC and
HDC, respectively.
- Region near Interaction region
yellow lines are generated charged track, purple squares are VTX hits,
with 200 micron meter square. Two cylinders shown by wire-frame are
VTX's inner most and outer most layers.
-
VTX background hits
Beam-induced background hits
on the first layer of VTX detectors are super imposed
on Zh events.
Background hit density is 1 hit per 1 mm square.
The radius of the first VTX layer is 2.4 cm.
Green boxes are background hits and blue boxes are signal hits.
The signal boxes are 40 micron-meter cubic.
For the signal hits, larger boxes, 400 micron-meter square and 40
micron-meter height, are also displayed to indicate amounts of signal
overlapping. Since we are using wire frame 3 D view, signals on
the opposite side of VTX layer are displayed as dots.
Signals on the same side of VTX layer have visible size.
From these pictures, we can see that signal hits are safely
separated from background hits.
