Building root on a HP-10 with g++

Hi I need to build root on a HP-10 using GNU g++. I played around with the
make files but I always get the following

collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
/usr/ccs/bin/ld: Invalid loader fixup for symbol
"fstream::~fstream(void)".

when building CINT (I could not go further...) I am sure I am not coosing
the right #defines

any suggestion on which is the prper thing to do ?
