Hi Rutger,

bad and good news.

The bad news is that in the current version this is not possible.
The good news is that in the next version (begin August) this will be
possible. I've implemented a new GUI class TRootEmbeddedCanvas. It
inherits from TGCanvas and you can place it where ever you like in
a TGFrame. From the embedded canvas you can obtain a pointer to
its associated TCanvas and draw the 3d graphics and geometries.
Have a look at http://root.cern.ch/~rdm/embedded.gif to see an
example.
