Why .l command does not work ?

Hi ROOTers,
I try to watch for (de)allocation of locals in root, but

root [9] .l
No variable table

I try to set in .rootrc : Root.ObjectStat to 1
but it does not help. (also I try 'MemStat' and 'Debug')

I'm lost ~30 min. to searching in RootHtmlDoc tree, but
fails to find a hints on this topic.
(If it is important - I create vars in stack and in heap
before trying .l)

Help, please.
