The first question:
Root under Windows 95:
I have a problem when I try to run the client-server tutorials on my PC
(with Win 95 and VisualC++ 5.0).
When the client starts his task it creates a TSocket and at once the
remote connection window appear on the screen to estabilish a via modem
connection though in the arguments I pass to TSocket there is
"localhost".
Is there a way to realize a localhost connection (under Win 95 OS )so I
can run all the tutorial on my PC?
I know it works well under HP and so on but the OS are a little bit
different....
The second question:
Root Under HP_UX 10.20
I need to have a dialog window on the screen both to display a long set
of names with a slider to let the user see such list and both an input
space where the user can pass a name to the application.
Is there some motif classes I can use under Root enviroment in order to
have on the screen a dialog window?
The third question:
Will it be ever released a Root version using Java?........
