3.Testbeam Measurement - Setup and Beam

π2 beamline at KEK-PS.
un-separated beam of 1~4GeV (e, μ, π, p)
time strucuture of ~1sec spill with ~4sec cycle.
beam-spot size of ~1cm (core), a few cm including the tail.
inclusive intensity of several thousands/spill.
electron intensity of several/spill (strongly dependent on beam energy).

Announced to be shut down in Summer 2004.
May continue operation for accelerator R&D even after that.
