Uniformity of photo-electron yeild over one tile of 4cm x 4cm x 1mm-thick measred with β from 90Sr.
Inside of the groove, uniformity is excellent. On and near the groove, significant deviation is observed.
Staggering the two-types of the tiles are expected to dilute this non-uniformity.
