13.11.98: First bug fixes for 1.1

And I already thought TkDesk was bug free... That was just a dream of course. 
The first bug that got reported is actually a pretty serious one in the 
built-in editor that can potentially lead to data loss (argh!), while 
the other one prevents you from using a custom trash directory.
