the version of rootcint included in the last release (2.0.11) for RedHat
4.2 seems to crash:
>rootcint -f CommonDict.cpp -c -t LinkDef.h
-t : trace execution

I'm running Linux Slackware 2.31, and the RedHat 4.2 version of rootcint
worked with previous release (2.0.9).
Thanks for your help.
