editor -> segmentation violation

Hi,
I just installed the new ROOT 2.0 beta version. The benchmark test runs
fine, but whenever I click on any item in the 'editor' (arc, diamond, ...)
I get a segmentation violation.
How can that be fixed. (I run on an Alpha/DU4.0 w/ g++)
