Minutes of CAL Meeting on 3/11

Place ; via TV with Kobe, Niigata, Tsukuba, and KEK. (Konan and Shinshu tried to connect, but failed)

1. Beam Status
	Fujii reported the beam schedule agreed on 3/10 with T550 (Belle-PID, Adachi-san) and EPPC (Ieiri-san).
	- T550 will run until 3/17, 9:00. They will finish cleaning up the area by 3/11 12:00.
	- We will start set up work from 3/17, 13:00. Should finish by 3/18, 17:00, and beam time begins.
	- In order to complete set up work quickly, all detectors and equipments must be transported beside the
	  pi2-area by the end of 3/16. Therefore, 3/15 and 3/16 will be dedicated to this work.
	- Everyone must inform his/her final travel schedule to Fujii.

2. Shinshu Report (Takeshita-san)
	- MiniCAL casette was tested with beta before disassembling. Signal was seen successfully.
	  Bias voltage was a bit different from those labeled on the board.
	  Disassebnle the cassette and make a new set of strip-array detector.
	- The new SSMX/SiPM will have 9 channels. It should be read out by charge-ADC.
	- Detectors will be shipped out from Shinshu on 3/15. They will arrive at KEK on 3/16.

3. NEM Report (Ono-san)
	- A problem was found on the optical cross-talk between tiles and WLS-fibers.
	  Since the fiber-routing plastic plate is very thin (0.15mm) at the bottom of the groove, scintillation light
	  from the tiles can reach to WLS fibers coming from other tiles. 
	  This results in cross-talk of 20% for electron showers.
	  Now adding a teflon tape on the bottom of the groove to improve isolation. It will be done today.
	- After re-assembling, fibers will be checked by eyes.
	- Niigata people will bring detectors to KEK on 3/16 with them.
	- Solar-EM assembling has been finished. Signal check will be done soon.
	- Organic-EM under assembling. Will be in time to transport to KEK on 3/16.

4. TEM Report (Yamauchi-san)
	- PMT check done.
	- Fiber connections checked and verified.
4' DC Report (Nagano-san)
	- Cosmic test completed. No problem found.
	- Two-days are too short to replace gas inside. Gas flow must be started before set-up starts.
	- Need big (10cm x 10cm) counter to do DC calibration to cover all sensitive area. Tsukuba has it.

5. KSMX
	- All detectors will be shipped out from Kobe on 3/15. They will arrive at KEK on 3/16.
	  TCs (3cm x 3cm x 2 and 5cm x 6cm x 1) will also be shipped.
	- HAPD (Nakamura)
	  Nochange in situation from the last report. HAPD readout is ready. HPD not yet successful.
	- EBCCD (Tamura)
	  Bare device has cooling problem, but we see signals.
	  EBCCD-camera is working well.
	- Will borrow refrig from Sugimoto-san.

6. JEM Report (Zviadi-san)
	- Now sitting in the prep. area beside pi2.
	- Start test on Friday. Will be ready by 3/18.
	- Re-considering PMT attachment scheme.
